Did I end up going to Six Flags...

So I am a horrible blogger but I need to get better. People keep telling me to not worry about the past and just start fresh but I cant do that. My friends and I made a promise that this was going to be the best year ever and I definitely want to remember the fun I have had!! Ok so I am sure you are tired of reading about my well little problem! Did I end up getting to go on my trip...YES and it was so fun. There were 2 cars: The St.Pattys decked out crew and the pink vested Valient Thorr crew (If your thinking Valient Thorr??? no worries there is an explanation). In the beginning there was no secret that I was jealous of the St.Pattys crew!! Lets just say Amanda, Brittany, Brein and Angela really know to plan for a road trip girl style. I however feel horrible because that left my car...Clint, Ryan and Natalie feeling like I didn't exactly want to be there and lets face it I had to because it was my car we were driving!!! Anywho after kinda complaining like the whiny brat I am the boys and Natalie and I headed out to Walmart in search of some road trip goodies and I might say I came up slightly disappointed... however got some pretty funny pictures

I am sure it looks like we came up with some brilliant outfits or themes or something but let me assure you we walked out with water and snacks. Not exactly what I was hoping for but I knew the trip was still going to be a blast and it didn't matter that we didn't have like a theme for our car or something. I am laughing because I sound like a baby but seriously I was bummed thats just how I am. Then came the much dreaded bathroom problem that almost ended my trip before it started. But after a blessing, a bottle of fleet, some metamucil, prune juice and lots of water I was able to go on the trip. I didn't work Friday cause lets face it me and the bathroom kinda had a long standing date but I was ready to leave at 2 am or so I thought. I set my alarm for 1:45 and apparently slept through it. Brittany finally woke me up at 2:10 and was like Brandi are you ever waking up. EEK Brein was already on her way to get them and I was still needing to pick up the boys and Natalie and meet Brein's car at QT. After brushing my teeth and getting dressed I hauled but to Natalie's and then the boys house. It was really cold out so I just phones the boys that I was there so they came out and started packing things in my trunk and then all of the sudden they disappeared back into the house and came out each one wearing a jean vest and holding something pink. Can I just say that they are so awesome!! They made us matching shirts and vests and in my favorite color PINK! Now they said Valient Thorr which I know everyone is like what the heck?? Yeah I was too, it is actually a band they like and Ryan aka the DJ of the trip started the trip off with 2 of their songs.

Sadly it was freaking freezing so thats all that was seen of that shirt because the my sweatshirt went right back on! I was more excited that they cared that much to make the shirts.

Anyway Six Flags ended up to be an adventure and I am not sure the boys knew exactly how long it could take to get to six flags with 6 girls with small bladders. They actually named our trip REST STOP TOUR 2009!! haha On the way home Ryan decided he was going to go pee everytime we stopped and it was hilarious cause he was drinking water and still hard a hard time going. What can I say...Its a gift to have to pee every 30 miles!!!

The trip was a blast and I laughed so much and even cried!! I am glad for the friendships I have made and that the trip was possible and I am trying to talk the gang into going again towards the end of the year...WISH ME LUCK!!
