So my mom came in my room towards the end of February and sat on my bed and gave me the craziest news of my life. haha not really but kinda close! Well my Aunt Carol who lives in Wisconsin has 2 kids Kenny who is my age and Pamela who is 13 (i think). Well she had another son, a boy named Kendall that is a little older than Amanda that she gave up for adoption. My mom and dad were going to adopt him but for some reason didn't. I never knew any of this but my Aunt never kept it from Kenny or Pamela. Kendall was adopted by a great family and he actually just got off his mission in December and decided to look for his birth mom. After some help from his mom they sent a letter to my Aunt Carol and long story short there was a huge reunion!! My Aunt and Pam flew down as well as some of her family and Kendall who is living in Utah flew down and we had them all staying with us and with Sommer.
We were so nervous to meet him. We had texted and talked on facebook with him and he seemed really cool but we were still so nervous. Amanda and I picked him up from the airport because his flight came in before my aunts and within 5 minutes we were instantly in love with the kid. Man oh man does he fit in with our family!! We came up with nicknames right away. He is LLC because he's our long lost cousin, I am BNC aka brand new cousin.
We had such a great time with him riding the light rail, eating at Texas Roadhouse, fooseball and rockband, goofy golfing, febreze fights, playing the cards, the batting cages not to mention the endless hours of laughter! It was really hard to say goodbye to him but we are looking forward to going to Wisconsin in August to visit my Aunt and Kenny will meet Kendall for the first time. I actually haven't seen Kenny in forever so I am looking forward to this reunion as well!!
Oh funny story all of Kendalls life he had thought he was part Asian cause he kinda looks like it so the first thing he asked my Aunt when he talked to her was if he was Asian to which he was slightly let down when the answer was NO!!
