Brandi's Auntie Update

Little Shelbie Lynn Atwood will be here either tomorrow or Wednesday!! Sommer went in last Thursday to have her membranes scraped but her cervix still hadn't dropped. Her actual due date is this Thursday but her doctor said that she would more than likely not go on her own so she wants to induce her. Sommer is also very thankful for thanksgiving because her doctor will only be on call Tues and Wed of this week and then she will not be on call again till Nov 29 and she doesn't want her to wait that long so Shelbie gets to come early. I highly doubt that Sommer is going to be getting any sleep tonight.

I am so thankful for Sommer and what a great sister she is. I know I am always making fun of her for being a control freak but I know she is going to be an amazing mom. Sommer I know you will read this so remember when your house isn't spotless and you start to freak out that it is ok. You can only do the best that you can and sometimes it will be more important to spend time with your little one! I am so excited to meet Shelbie and I promise to be the best aunt to her and I will work everyday to be a great role model. Lance I am also grateful for you, you make Sommer so happy and I hope one day soon I will be as happy as you two. Shelbie is lucky to have you has a dad and I can't wait to watch you take her fishing for the first time. I wish you both good luck and I will be waiting very impatiently for the text that she is her!
